This will be another photo session with Miss Jai.  She is a pleasure to work with and very professional.  She has been changing over the last few years and has grown since I last seen her.  Mentally she has grown.  I enjoy conversations with her and believe that shooting will be just as easy as before.  Looking forward to working with her.

I am from Oklahoma.  I have been modeling for about 4 years.  I also am a competitive bodybuilder.  I enjoy reading, traveling, and going to movies.

Description: This will be my first shoot with Hannah. We chose a park to do a light and bright shoot.

This will be my first shoot with Hannah.  She has been a good conversation in discussing ideas that she wants to shoot and flexible in her schedule to arrange this shoot.  We will be visiting Bear Creek Park and shoot some playful and casual images around the “Play Area” as well as walking around the trail at the park.  Plans for outfits include colorful skirts/dresses and maybe even a jeans/tshirt.

Words from Hannah:
I work full time and attend school part time. Some of my favorite hobbies include reading, writing, cooking, and spending time with family. I also have a few pets including a cat and a dog who get along great!

Write-up

I had a very positive experience with Hannah.  She provided a positive interaction through good choice in clothing and desire to try new things.  The park was a very nice location to shoot at and the images displayed natural beauty that only outdoors can offer.  I look forward to working with Hannah again in the future.

WS: Intro to Studio Photography

Description: Introduce the photographer to camera settings, studio lighting and functional use of the studio environment.

I will be hosting a introduction workshop that will go over the details of camera settings, how to use studio lighting and hands on use of equipment setup and breakdown.  The cost of the workshop will be $50 to attend.  Payment is required before March 27, 2009 or a $5 surcharge will be applied.

Topics include but are not limited to: Silhouette, High-Key Understanding aperture and shutter speed, studio lighting and various triggering setups.

Any questions please do not hesitate to contact me directly.

This workshop will not have a model on hand to work with as the focus is on the studio.

Write-up:

I had Bill show up for the workshop and I was able to provide a personal hands on discussion with him.  We discussed various styles and concepts that were of Interest to Bill.  This was a awesome experience for myself and I hope for Bill as well.

This will be my first photo session with Brielle aka Brandy-Michellle.  She will shoot a variety of looks from my ideas to her own.

Words from Brielle:

I am into different looks and styles as long as they are classy and I don’t have to do anything in the nude. I dont mind pinup looks with corsets and fishnets and interesting concepts like that. i also go for high fashion and glamour. I am full-figured, so while I know my market is limited, I want to make the most of the markets I can do and be a postive force in whatever I do! I have a great spirit about me and am easy going! Usually people find me very enjoyable to work with!

Write Up:

Working with Brielle was very relaxing and fun.  She offered professional interactions and beautiful ideas.  She is well worth invested time in working with.  She showed up a bit nervous but loosened up and flexed her beauty and placed her signature in the photo session.  I welcome additional shoots with Brielle and encourage anyone looking for a model that will add to your shoot to book her.

Studio?

I have a meeting tomorrow March 26 with a lady named Kristen to go over a retail/shopping space available for lease.  If all goes well I may have found my studio location.

The place is in Lewisville and is in a strip mall area that is older.  I have a budget in mind.  Lets see if the price is right.

The property manager had to reschedule today.  Will be meeting next Thursday instead.  Will post updated info once I meet with her.
