The location has been changed from Angry Dog to Cafe Brazil due to the time we are meeting.  Angry Dog does not open until 12pm.

A group of photographers I work with on Facebook, DFW Amateur Photographers, is having a Photo Walk.  We are looking for shutterbugs, Photographers, and models, people to talk pictures of as modeling history is not required.

This will be a light morning/afternoon of good conversation, good people and great pictures.  Experience required is NONE.  Just a desire to meet others that like what you like.  Great networking opportunity for those that want to meet others to take their pictures or find others to take pictures of.  Bring business cards, pencils, paper, cameras, clothing (1 outfit is more then enough) so wear something FUN/FUNKY/FASHION/NORMAL/ABNORMAL/CASUAL or anything else that strikes your attention.  No great camera is required, no prior modeling history is required.  Just a positive attitude to meet with others.  If you been shooting for 10 days or 10 years it is all the same.  You may even learn a few new things as we have a great group of people with a variety of backgrounds.

So with that said I will update this with more information as needed.

Oh I forgot to mention..  I have 4 models confirm that they will be attending.  So keep your heads posted here as I update the status on this…

Looks like I have a pretty good amount of people who want to attend.  Hope that everyone wants to attend can make it out.  This will be a great time to network, be social and capture or be captured..

WHERE: Cafe Brazil at Deep Ellum
PARKING: There is parking at Cafe Brazil. Also parking streeside (meter) and careful with the     nearby paid lots. Bring quarters.
PLAN:

• We will meet and greet for about 30min, Please buy something at Cafe Brazil like a coke and fries
• We have a nice group confirmed of all ages, models and photographers
• We’ll walk a several blocks and shoot some nice street scenes
• Suggestion: Bring your flash (for fill) but no big deal if you don’t have one

–Write Up:

Today we had the photo walk and I must say that I had a good time.  Met some new photographer friends and a new model that is 14.  The 14 model parent attended with them and was a good person to have with us.  Everyone exchanged knowledge and input with one another.  It was a all around good time had by all.  For those that were unable to attend sad to hear that and hopefully you can make the next one.  To those that did attend I thank you for coming out and sharing int he fun.
