This will be the first time that I get to work with Jaimie and the 5th or 6th time that I get to work with Malaika.  I expect very good results from this photo session.

Write up:

Today I worked with Malaika and Jaimie.  Both of them were wonderful.  Jaimie had never had a photo session before.  Malaika and I worked together with Jaimie and she had a really good time.  The pictures turned out fantastic and both enjoyed themselves.  I will do some edits and post a couple of pictures in the near future.

Cleaning Up….

I did some cleaning up of my page today.  Worked on the Categories, Avatar settings and even added in on my calendar the times this year I will be unavailable for shooting.  I have a few more dates to block off in April but that will be done by this month.

I also started work on the workshops info page.  This page will provide information on the workshops I will offer and some info on what we will be doing in each of them.  I can honestly say there is so much work to be done but I am enjoying each moment of it that I invest time in it.  Using WordPress was a great idea.  I personally want to thank Brian for the idea.  Doing all this by hand with html/php would take me months and I would not update it as often.  Eventually I may add in a guestbook page so people can leave comments there in general.

But everyone take some time to use the “Contact” page I have here and include a picture of yourself!  I love to add pictures to the contacts of my friends.

Cleaned up the gallery to make it more functional for administration.  Will continue work on other pages as well.  But for the night I am done with clean up.  I am going to do some editing.  Hopefully tomorrow will work out and I get to shoot with Malaika & Jaimie.

Sunday 3pm…

March 1, 2009 @ 3pm this is the plan.

Who wants to shoot?  I have a friend that is looking to shoot.  She has not been out with her camera in a while.  Right now looking for someone or a few people to shoot with us.  We can do it outdoors if the weather is nice.  She is thinking maybe a Cemetery.  I am thinking a park or lake such as the local park here in Keller or Grapevine Lake.

**Confirmation on Location**

We will meet up at Grapevine Lake.  We will start at Circuit City in Southlake at Kimball in TX-114.  I will be there from 2:30pm till about 3:15pm the latest.  If you are later then that you will have to just call me to get directions.  It is pretty straight forward to arrive at the lake where we will be.

Clothing to wear is completely up to the people attending.  There is no dress code.  Since we will be at the lake I recommend something comfortable to move around a grassy area that includes the water area.  But you pick what you like the most..

Temperature is estimated to be 55 degrees and sunny.  This temp comes from AccuWeather.

Write Up:
Today was a great time.  We had a small number of people show up but fun was had by ALL.  Thanks to David, Mike, John for showing up.  Special thanks to Marcus for being a new member attending a outing.  And much love to Jessica for asking me to get out and shoot with her.  Last but never least special thanks to MaDonna & Julz for coming out and being our models.  They were a blast and great to see them both.

Write Up:
The shoot has conclude and I must say that it went better then expected.  Tara was very easy to work with and held her own in kindness.  She was easy to speak with before the shoot and just as easy to work with in person.  She was professional and prepared to be spontaneous.  She worked on the fly as well as followed direction.  I look forward to working with her again and capturing some of her ideas not just my own.

My photography group is meeting up to hang out at the Museum and to talk photography shop.

Will write up the event upon completion.  And add in a gallery.

Edit 2/23/09
We had a really good time at the Amon Carter.  We had a pretty good size group attend.  The Amon Carter is a good museum to attend.  The photographer Barbara Crane was on exhibit and her work was really good.  It was a great feeling to review her work and understand what it took to create the images that she created.  Attending TCC and learning in the Photography Department paid off.  To be able to review the images and discuss the print process was totally cool.  The other ART they had on display was really cool as well.  Museum’s are cool and I will be attending them more often.  After we completed our tour we walked across the street to a field they had.  There was a small water display presented as well as a area that was secluded down and included a few rocks on display.  We posted up in this area and captured a few pictures.  Everyone was able to grab some pretty good pictures.  Overall I would say the day was very well spent.
