Sunday 3pm…

Original Post Date: Feb 25, 2009 @ 4:57 pm

March 1, 2009 @ 3pm this is the plan.

Who wants to shoot?  I have a friend that is looking to shoot.  She has not been out with her camera in a while.  Right now looking for someone or a few people to shoot with us.  We can do it outdoors if the weather is nice.  She is thinking maybe a Cemetery.  I am thinking a park or lake such as the local park here in Keller or Grapevine Lake.

**Confirmation on Location**

We will meet up at Grapevine Lake.  We will start at Circuit City in Southlake at Kimball in TX-114.  I will be there from 2:30pm till about 3:15pm the latest.  If you are later then that you will have to just call me to get directions.  It is pretty straight forward to arrive at the lake where we will be.

Location: 250 N. Kimball Avenue, Southlake, TX 76092 (Yahoo! Maps used for image)
meeting

Clothing to wear is completely up to the people attending.  There is no dress code.  Since we will be at the lake I recommend something comfortable to move around a grassy area that includes the water area.  But you pick what you like the most..

Temperature is estimated to be 55 degrees and sunny.  This temp comes from AccuWeather.

Comment if you want to attend…

Write Up:
Today was a great time.  We had a small number of people show up but fun was had by ALL.  Thanks to David, Mike, John for showing up.  Special thanks to Marcus for being a new member attending a outing.  And much love to Jessica for asking me to get out and shoot with her.  Last but never least special thanks to MaDonna & Julz for coming out and being our models.  They were a blast and great to see them both.

Attendee’s feel free to comment any thoughts..

Stay tuned for more random last minute shoots…

If she wants to shoot at a cemetery there is a good one on Lancaster. Nice and big. you would have to see if it is open to the public though.

Greenwood Cemetery close to downtown Dallas is pretty awesome to shoot at too. Its mostly veterans, but the brass plaques next to the headstones and the street names on the cemetery streets are pretty awesome too. Mostly Civil War Veterans, but there are some incredible headstones and statues. Its also directly across the street from Calvalry Cemetary which is the oldest Catholic Cemetery in Dallas.

Hey stranger…this sounds like a fun afternoon…I’d like to come out if possible…I just moved into a house in Lewisville so now I’m WAY closer. The only thing is that I would most likely have Julz with me…lemme know if that would be a prob.

Sounds like a great shoot, but unfortunately a little too far to drive that late in the day on Sunday. I’m 1/4 mile from White Rock so I’ll just head over there. BTW – great vegetation shots in the old Fish Hatchery by White Rock lake.

I’ll be there. Sounds like reasonable weather!

I just wanted to say that Julz and I had a blast! It was nice to get out of the house and meet new friends. Needless to say Julz was plum-tuckered out…lol so the evening has been a quiet evening. Thanks to everyone there…it was a pleasure meeting you all…hopefully we can do it again soon!
take care and c u laterz!
