Location: 2335 Sandy Lake Road, Carrollton, Texas 75006
Description: Meeting up with J. Minor to shoot some random pictures.
Start Time: 14:00
Date: 2009-03-21
End Time: 16:30
Will get a chance to go out with Jennifer and do hands on shooting. Jennifer takes wonderful pictures but wants to learn more about photography. Learning the camera and what you can and can not do with it is her goal of the moment. We will go out and work together on understanding the basic usage and shooting ideas.
Jennifer has stated that she is open to other photographers or subjects to shoot to attend with us. So please comment if you wish to attend with us.
We will be meeting at McInnish Park located:

Here is Yahoo Maps of the location
Looks like this will be larger then expected. Several people have commented that they will be attending, photographers and models, so get ready to have some fun. Looks like an impromptu photo session!!

It was great to finally meet Jennifer and work with her. She has a very good eye for capturing beautiful pictures. She wants to learn more about the manual control and function of her camera. She like many people, 30 years and 30 minutes of camera usage, captures too dark and too bright pictures in manual mode BUT she will pick it up in no time to be more comfortable with the setup and efficient. I enjoyed meeting her husband and two beautiful daughters. I look forward to working with Jennifer again as a photographer learning and just shooting.
It was a pleasure to meet Ms. “K-Sly” and “Chiontae” for the first time. Both of them have limited modeling experience but they arrived and added to the learning experience for Jennifer. They both were professional and added their beauty not just in outer appearance but in overall attendance. They are worth working with in photo sessions in the future.
It was awesome to meet Wray for the first time. Wray is a male model that has a good look to himself. He takes care of himself and enjoys doing fun things in pictures. His attendance added to the shoot as he provided input in ideas there were very good and fun. I look forward to working with him again in the future.
Mark “DJ Fish” Roberts made a cameo appearance at the shoot and his attendance added to the session. He has been looking to get out and shoot for a while and popped in the neighborhood. He found us were we were shooting and jumped in and added to the session.

This sounds like fun! hmmm ….. maybe I’ll join!
we would be interested in this shoot saturday march 21
This was an amazing experience that I am immensely grateful to Calvin for giving me the opportunity to learn. I learned that while there are many things I need to learn about…especially exposure… there are many things I am great at. One step at a time, and hopefully I will get to where I strive to be…
Thanks Calvin!
Jennifer
